In search of the best: R&D, testing and quality control
The design and manufacture of all of Marchesini new wheels includes a fully computerized process, guaranteeing the absolute innovative quality of the product. The Finite Element Method (FEM) structural analysis, performed through state-of-the-art computational software packages developed in the aeronautical industry, allows Marchesini to simulate all of the wheel components and the performances of materials to guarantee the best result for each application type. The testing stage, which includes impact tests, alternate torsion tests, radial loading and rotary bending tests, occurs after the design and the manufacture of prototypes.

If the prototypes pass this stage, the wheels are sent to production, and will later undergo quality control inspections, which take place in several stages: ie, dimensional check after production, aesthetic check after coating and functional check after assembly.
