M10RR - KOMPE RACING

M10RR – KOMPE RACING is the product of Marchesini's desire to create something that can perform to the highest level at a sales price that all riders can afford.

On culmination of a lengthy development process, Marchesini launched KOMPE RACING, a product that encompasses the performance of a forged magnesium wheel in terms of weight/inertia, superior strength, excellent metallurgic quality and consistent mechanical properties.

To achieve this incredible result, the most advanced design techniques and FEM structural calculations were used, the same ones applied to the wheels used on the bikes of the world's top MotoGP riders,  resulting in optimized geometry to make the best use of the material characteristics and obtain maximum rigidity with the minimum weight.

The purpose of the rim geometry is to reduce inertia to reduce in turn the gyroscope effect, enhancing handling in and out of bends while still meeting the most stringent standards of resistance.

The spokes vary in thickness with tapered ridges to reach high values of rigidity and enhance the rider's connection with the bike.
The hub is sized to better withstand the high levels of stress caused by the braking system and more powerful racing engines.

The special aluminum alloy used and the exclusive, multi-directional forging system did the rest, producing a basic material with superior mechanical properties.

The metallurgic process and mechanical machining are assured by the Marchesini Quality Control system to create impeccable and perfectly balanced wheels which give the best biking experience combined with an aggressive, attractive appearance.

The final result is a set of wheels that can save up to 35% in weight and cut the moment of roll inertia by 30% compared with the original wheels.
