Haslam wins and steps forward in the overall standings
May 16th – Leon Haslam (Suzuki) won race 2 in South African GP, thus consolidating his primacy in the Superbike World Championship at Aprilia’s Max Biaggi’s expense, who finished third and is now 15 points from the top. Michel Fabrizio (Ducati) had predominated in race 1. Haslam had arrived third with Biaggi finishing fifth. The next race will be held on May 30st in the United States.
