Rea and Biaggi win in Brno
July 11 – Max Biaggi rules Brno. The Roman rider of Aprilia took second in Race 1, behind the British Jonathan Rea (Honda), and first in Race 2, before Rea himself. Thus Biaggi took off in the World Championship Standings, with a gap of 68 points over Leon Haslam (Suzuki), who got the eighth place in Race 1 and the tenth in Race 2.
Once again the Czech circuit has been favorable to the Roman pilot, who won ten races in Brno during his career: four in the 250 class, two in the 500 class, one in Moto GP and three in Superbike.
