Forged Aluminium "KOMPE R" For Racing Use

The KOMPE R wheel, available exclusively for racing use, was designed to fulfil the demands for a product of high performances while maintaining a reasonable price.
If offers the same performances as a cast magnesium wheels in terms of weight and inertia reduction and rigidity. However, in addition to a 25% to 35% weight reduction compared to a set of original wheels, “Kompe R” also provides all the advantages ensuing from the forging of crude products compared to casting: better quality and mechanical characteristics of the material, complete machining of all the surfaces with CNC machines, better control of engineering tolerances and higher level of wheel balance.

A set of “KOMPE R” wheels weighs about 9 kilograms and is delivered ready for the assembly, equipped with all its fittings (disc holders and sprocket carriers, external and internal spacers made from black anodized Ergal 7075 aluminium alloy). KOMPE R is completely interchangeable with the original equipment, except for the sprocket, which needs to  be replaced with a model that meets Marchesini standard (available from most sprocket manufacturers). The available dimensions of the KOMPE R wheel range from 16.5 inches for use in racing (front 3.5” x 16.5” – rear 6.00”-6.25” x 16.5”).

The weight reduction of forged aluminium wheels, compared to the original fitment is 15-20% (- 30-40%, for magnesium wheels), which greatly improves the motorcycle’s handling, acceleration and braking performances.
