Kompe Motard, an alternative to spokes
 
The long experience in producing forged aluminium components, enabled Marchesini to create this new monolithic spoke wheel for Supermotard use, the SuperMotard wheel, the first alternative to the commonly used spoked wheel.

It is a new generation of wheels that overcomes the most extreme demands required and improves the performance of a discipline that is extensively establishing itself on an international level.
Similar to the Kompe wheel in design, the Kompe Motard wheel is a wheel deeply revised at the design stage, especially to give some crucial advantages compared to common spoked wheels used in off-roading contexts.

The main innovation stands in significantly improved rigidity, weight reduction and inertia. These characteristics enabled Marchesini wheels to win the AMA Supermoto championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Kompe Supermotard, unique  in its kind. This wheel also allows tubeless tyres to be used, thus assuring a further weight reduction compared to the standard wheel, and a reduced puncture risk).
