The most successful wheel in world championships racing in recent years is available to anyone looking for the best of the best. It is a product without compromises, the combination of a multidirectional forging process with a new magnesium alloy.
The result is a wheel that weighs 45% less than the original set and with a 30% inertia reduction. These characteristics provide faster accelerations, improved handling on bends, improved control due to improved gyroscopic effect. A mounted set of magnesium wheels weighs about 7.5 kilograms and is completely interchangeable with the original set, except for the sprocket that needs to be replaced with a model that complies with Marchesini standard (available from most sprocket manufacturers). The magnesium wheel size available is 17 inches for road use (front 3.50” x 17” – rear 5.50”-5.75”-6.00” x 17”) and 16.5 inches for track use (front 3.50” x 16.5” – rear 6.00”-6.25” x 16.5”).
