The Aprilia rider and Marchesini are champions again in World SBK
An incredible championship which was exciting right down to the end. Max Biaggi won, bringing his sixth title home with his Aprilia equipped with Marchesini 7 spoke M7RR Genesi wheels in forged magnesium. .
The Corsair won by just a half point over Tom Sykes. No one was able to match his pace and neither Rea nor Guintoli were able to attack him. The third step of the podium was occupied by the Honda standard bearer who, after letting success slip through his fingers in race one, made an attempt on Sykes without ever being able to get close enough. The Ten Kate rider held his own behind Guintoli.
And so a memorable season comes to a close for Biaggi and his Aprilia.
